Welcome to Life in General Creations. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, lifeingeneral.shop, and your purchase of products and services from Life in General Creations (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By visiting our website, placing an order, submitting a customization request, or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Products and Services
Life in General Creations offers a variety of handmade, personalized, customized, and ready-to-purchase products. Our offerings may include apparel, drinkware, gifts and keepsakes, party favors and event creations, balloons, curated gift boxes, 3D-printed creations, printed transfers, vinyl prints, seasonal products, and other custom creations.
Products and services may be added, changed, or discontinued at any time.
2. Personalized and Custom Orders
Many of our products are made specifically for the customer. You are responsible for providing accurate personalization information, including names, dates, ages, wording, colors, sizes, themes, and other requested details.
Please carefully review all information before submitting your order.
Life in General Creations is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information submitted by the customer. If you notice an error after placing an order, contact us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to correct the information if production has not yet begun.
Once production has started, changes may not be possible and additional charges may apply.
3. Customer-Provided Images, Artwork and Content
When you submit photographs, logos, artwork, wording, designs, or other materials for use in a custom order, you confirm that you have the right or permission to provide and use those materials for the requested purpose.
You are responsible for the content you submit.
We reserve the right to decline requests containing content that we reasonably determine is unlawful, threatening, hateful, obscene, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.
4. Design and Product Variations
Because many Life in General Creations products are handmade or individually customized, minor variations may occur between the product shown online and the finished product.
Colors may also appear differently depending on your screen, device, printing process, material, lighting, or manufacturing method.
These reasonable variations are part of the custom and handmade nature of our products and are not considered defects.
5. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, colors, pricing, and other information accurately.
However, we do not guarantee that every photograph or display will represent the exact color or appearance of the finished product.
For personalized products, photographs may be examples of previous work and are intended to demonstrate the type or style of product available.
6. Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change without notice. The price shown at the time an order is placed will generally apply to that order.
Additional charges may apply for extensive customization, rush requests, specialty materials, larger quantities, shipping, delivery, or other requested upgrades. Any applicable additional charges will be communicated when appropriate.
Payment must be successfully completed according to the options available during checkout.
7. Order Acceptance
Submitting an order does not prevent us from canceling or declining an order when necessary.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order due to circumstances including pricing or listing errors, unavailable materials, suspected fraud, inability to complete a customization request, prohibited content, or other reasonable business circumstances.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected and no product has been provided, the applicable payment will be refunded.
8. Processing Times
Processing times vary depending on the product, quantity, customization, materials, and current order volume.
Processing time refers to the time required to create and prepare your order. It does not include carrier shipping or delivery time.
Custom, personalized, handmade, party, balloon, gift box, and 3D-printed orders may require additional processing time.
If you need an item for a particular event or date, please order early and provide the event date when requested.
9. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping is subject to our Shipping Policy.
Delivery estimates provided by shipping carriers are estimates and are not guaranteed by Life in General Creations.
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delays caused by the carrier, weather, transportation disruptions, incorrect customer addresses, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery.
Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address.
10. Local Pickup
When local pickup is offered, customers must follow the pickup instructions provided with their order.
Orders should not be picked up until the customer has received confirmation that the order is ready.
11. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
Returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.
Because personalized and custom-made products are created specifically for the customer, they may not be eligible for return or exchange except when an item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the approved/order specifications.
Please review the Return and Refund Policy before purchasing.
12. Event and Party Orders
Customers ordering products for birthdays, weddings, showers, graduations, parties, or other events are responsible for providing accurate event dates and ordering with sufficient time for production and delivery.
Providing an event date does not automatically guarantee delivery by that date unless we have expressly agreed to a guaranteed completion or delivery arrangement.
13. Balloons and Specialty Products
Balloons and certain specialty products may be affected by temperature, weather, handling, transportation, altitude, and environmental conditions.
The lifespan and appearance of balloon products can therefore vary.
Customers should follow any care instructions provided with the product.
14. 3D-Printed Products
3D-printed products may contain minor layer lines, seams, texture variations, or other characteristics associated with the 3D-printing process. These characteristics are generally normal and are not necessarily product defects.
Unless specifically described as such, 3D-printed creations are decorative or general-use products and should not be assumed to be food-safe, heat-safe, dishwasher-safe, or suitable for children.
15. Transfers and Vinyl Prints
Customers purchasing DTF transfers, vinyl prints, or similar application products are responsible for following the application instructions appropriate for the product and material.
Life in General Creations is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect application, incorrect temperature or pressure, unsuitable materials, improper washing, or failure to follow applicable care instructions.
16. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the original content, branding, photographs, graphics, website content, and original designs belonging to Life in General Creations may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, resold, or used commercially without permission.
Purchasing a finished product does not automatically transfer intellectual-property rights to the purchaser.
17. Prohibited Use
You may not use our website, products, or services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
You may not attempt to interfere with the operation or security of our website or misuse our services.
18. Third-Party Services
Our store is hosted through Shopify and may use third-party services for payment processing, shipping, communication, analytics, and other business functions.
Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to the terms and policies of those providers.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Life in General Creations will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products, website, or services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to our products, services, business practices, or legal requirements.
The current version will be posted on our website with an updated revision date.
